Spreadsheet data were imported into ESRI ArcMap 10.3.1 as an XY event and converted into a point shapefile. The shapefile was QA/QC'd against county boundaries layer in data library. Questionable records were individually examined and corrected as appropriate. 20190101 The GeoPlan Center took the following steps during the QA/QC process: - Downloaded the datasets from FFWCC on 6/11/2019 using this link: http://geodata.myfwc.com/datasets/black-bear-road-mortality-locations-in-florida (original dataset was in shapefile format and in the WGS 1984 geographic coordinate system). - The dataset was projected into the FGDL Albers HPGN projection using the WGS_1984_(ITRF00)_To_NAD_1983 + NAD_1983_To_HARN_Florida transformation. FIELDS REMOVED: - OBJECTID FIELDS ADDED: - MGRS, LAT_DD, LONG_DD, GOOGLEMAP, DESCRIPT field added based on the LOCATION field.
