Upcased all character records 2.) Merged 22 county shapefiles to create TRRTS 3.) Added COUNTY item based on county name 4.) Added DESCRIPT item based on COUNTY 20020101 The transit stops data were compiled by the Lehman Center for Transportation Research at Florida International University. Most of the county's data were collected from transit agencies. For transit agencies that had not developed GIS maps of the stops, the Lehman Center digitzed those stops using USGS 1:100,000 Tiger Roads as a backdrop. The GeoPlan Center otained this data in shapefile format from the FDOT in 2002. Original datasets consisted of 22 county shapefiles; Alachua, Bay, Brevard, Broward, Dade, Duval, Escambia, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lee, Leon, Manatee, Monroe, Orange,Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Seminole and Volusia. The 22 county shapefiles were merged together to create this dataset.
